Laravel Developer – API & Web/Mobile Integration

About the Role

We’re looking for a mid-weight Laravel Developer to join Hola Finance and help us build modern APIs and tools that connect web and mobile experiences. You’ll work closely with the product and mobile teams to extend our financial features — everything from transactions and budgeting to notifications and analytics. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys clean, maintainable code and wants to make a real impact on a growing fintech product.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful and JSON APIs for web and mobile clients
• Develop and enhance the Hola Finance web app using Laravel Livewire and JavaScript
• Integrate and maintain NativePHP endpoints for the mobile app
• Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code following Laravel best practices
• Work with databases (MySQL), queues, and background jobs
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement new features
• Handle authentication, permissions, and data security for financial transactions
• Debug, optimize, and maintain performance across environments
• Participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Laravel and PHP 8+
• Solid understanding of API architecture, authentication (JWT, Sanctum), and webhooks
• Experience with Laravel Livewire, AlpineJS, or similar reactive frameworks
• Familiarity with NativePHP or eagerness to learn it quickly
• Strong SQL and Eloquent ORM knowledge
• Experience with queues, events, and notifications in Laravel
• Understanding of Git, Composer, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
